Reentry Book Club Fosters Understanding Through Education

July 13, 2026

A South Jersey book club is bringing neighbors together to learn about the realities of incarceration and reentry.

Education is a key pillar of The Reentry Coalition’s work – from expanding educational opportunities for justice-impacted individuals to helping the broader community better understand incarceration, the reentry process and the criminal justice system. The Community Reentry Book Club at the M. Allan Vogelson Regional Branch Library is bringing this mission to life by creating a space where community members can come together to learn, engage in meaningful conversations and build connections that help reduce stigma around justice involvement and reentry.
Through thoughtful discussions and shared experiences, the book club is helping foster greater understanding and awareness within the community. Learn more about this innovative program in South Jersey Local News.
