According to New Jersey Department of Corrections, the recidivism rate in New Jersey is less than 5% for the third year in a row – making it one of the lowest in the nation. The supportive services and reentry programs offered by our agency members and Coalition broadly is actively supporting formerly incarcerated individuals on their second chance at life – helping reestablish themselves within their communities and NOT return to prison.
