For individuals on parole who have experienced a substance use relapse, returning to the community can come with significant challenges. The ReEntry Substance Abuse Program (RESAP) provides a structured alternative to reincarceration, helping participants address substance use while building the stability and skills needed for long-term success.
Contracted through the New Jersey State Parole Board, RESAP serves parolees who have violated the conditions of their parole following a substance use relapse. The program provides supportive residential services to help participants transition back into the community while connecting them with substance use treatment and other critical resources.
A Comprehensive Approach to Recovery and Reentry
RESAP takes an intensive, comprehensive approach to substance use, addiction and relapse prevention. Participants have access to a continuum of supportive services designed to address their individual needs and support their successful reintegration into the community.
