In November, we celebrated the two-year anniversary of the opening of Village of Hope – a transitional housing community located in Bridgeton, NJ that is comprised of six tiny homes, where eligible male residents may reside for up to 180 days at no cost while transitioning back to the community post-incarceration.
The community is a collaborative effort between us here at the Reentry Coalition of New Jersey and two other partners – our agency member The Kintock Group and Gateway Community Action Partnership.
Kintock recently shared the amazing story of Chad Smith, a former Village of Hope resident who says that the community became so much more than just a place to call “home” – it opened a door to a completely new path on his life’s journey.
