Village Of Hope

It Takes A Village

Located in Bridgeton, NJ, Village of Hope is a transitional housing community for males comprised of six tiny homes, where eligible residents can live for up to 180 days at no cost, while working to create a sustainable life post-incarceration.

At Village of Hope, individuals are assigned their own 100-square-foot “tiny home,” which provides them with personal space in a safe, secure environment while they transition back into the community post-incarceration. Residents are required to maintain employment while at the community, and must work with staff to secure permanent housing during their stay.

As we have seen firsthand at Village of Hope, it takes a village to ensure an individual transitioning out of the criminal justice system and back into society will succeed at their second chance at life.
