If you have a criminal record, you may be wondering: Can I still get a job?

The answer is yes. A criminal record does not automatically prevent you from finding employment, and having a job can be an important part of building stability and moving forward after incarceration.

Reentering the workforce can come with challenges, but you do not have to navigate the process alone. Whether you are looking for your first job after incarceration, exploring a new career path or working toward greater financial stability, support is available.

The Reentry Coalition of New Jersey and our agency members provide services to individuals returning to their communities after incarceration. Coalition members offer a range of reentry services, including employment support, housing assistance, treatment, case management and more designed to help individuals successfully transition back into their communities.
